Sacristan
Our sacristans prepare the altar and liturgical items for Mass and sacraments. A sacristan assists in preparing the sacred vessels and books before Mass and cleaning up after Mass. Sacristans also ensure that the sanctuary environment is properly set for Mass.
What We Do
From arranging linens to lighting candles, we support the flow of the liturgy. This involves arriving 20-30 minutes before Mass and staying approximately ten minutes after Mass.
