At Guardian Angels, there are countless ways to answer that call by sharing your time, talents, and passion by joining a Guardian Angels Ministry. Whether through worship, community, or outreach, you’ll find opportunities to grow spiritually and make a meaningful impact.
Ways to Get Involved
Liturgical Ministries:
- Altar Linens: Assist in the care of sacred linens used during Mass.
- Altar Servers: Help during Mass by serving at the altar.
- Choir/Music Ministry: Thursdays at 7 PM. Share your musical talents and lift hearts in worship.
- Extraordinary Ministers of Communion: Distribute the Eucharist with reverence.
- Lectors: Proclaim the Word of God during Mass.
- Liturgical Environment: Help prepare the worship space for liturgical seasons.
- Money Counters: Help with the stewardship of church offerings.
- Sacristans: Prepare and organize for Mass celebrations.
Faith Formation and Fellowship:
- Bible Study: Mondays at 11:30 AM and Wednesdays at 6:05 PM.
- Faith Formation for Adults (OCIA): Mondays at 6:30 PM, September–May.
- Faith Formation K-5: Wednesdays at 6 PM, September–May.
- Men’s Group:
- Bible Study: Tuesdays at 7 AM.
- Fellowship: 3rd Thursdays at 6 PM.
- Women’s Group: 1st Tuesdays at 7 PM, September–May.
- Youth Group (6th-8th): Sundays at 6 PM, September–May.
- Youth Group (9th-12th): Sundays at 6 PM, September–May.
Community Outreach and Service:
- Caring Hands Crafters: Mondays at 9 AM. Create handmade items for those in need.
- Hospitality: Welcome and serve others at church events.
- Knights of Columbus: 2nd Tuesdays at 7 PM. Join this fraternal organization dedicated to charity and service.
- Saint Vincent de Paul Society: 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 7 PM. Serve the less fortunate in our community.
- Silvers (Over 60 Group): Fellowship on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 10 AM.
Prayer and Devotion:
- Fatima Rosary Group: Gather in prayer to honor Our Lady of Fatima.
- Prayer Before Masses: Join in prayerful preparation before the liturgy.
Special Ministries:
- Event Help: Assist with planning and hosting parish events.
- Garden Team: Beautify the church grounds through gardening.
