Anointing of the Sick

The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, based on the Letter of St. James in the Bible, is an anointing with oil and laying on of hands to invoke God’s healing grace on the sick. You may receive this sacrament many times as needed. This not the “last rites.” People do not die because they’ve received this sacrament.
