Marriage
The sacrament of marriage requires approximately eight months of preparation for the engaged couple. The Catholic Church invests in the sanctity of Catholic Marriage by a FOCCUS inventory, pre-marriage retreat, and an introduction to Natural Family Planning. The wedding liturgy is also planned together with the priest. It is important to begin this process well in advance of the desired wedding date. This process is designed to enrich the couples’ relationship, love, and faith, and prepare them for a lifelong commitment to marriage.
