Anointing of the Sick
The sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, based on the Letter of St. James in the Bible, is an anointing with oil and laying on of hands to invoke God’s healing grace on the sick. Individuals may receive this sacrament as many times as needed. This is not the “last rites.” Father Ron makes visits on Sunday afternoons to anoint the sick, and every first Friday of the month, an Anointing of the Sick is offered during the 5:15 pm Mass for anyone suffering with physical, mental, emotional, spiritual or financial ailments.
