Anointing of the Sick

The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is a beautiful sign of God’s healing presence and grace. Rooted in the Letter of St. James, this sacrament includes the laying on of hands and anointing with holy oil, asking the Lord to bring strength, peace, and healing to those who are suffering.
This sacrament may be received whenever a person is facing serious illness, surgery, advanced age, or ongoing physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, or even financial hardship. It may be received more than once and is not only for those at the end of life.
When Is It Offered?
- Monthly at the First Friday Mass at 5:15 pm
- By appointment
- Father Ron also makes visits on Sunday afternoons to anoint the sick
If you or a loved one would like to receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, please contact the parish office to make arrangements. We are here to help ensure that no one faces illness or suffering alone.
