About the Silver Rose

Each year, eight silver roses are carried by councils along routes from Canada to every United States state, Puerto Rico, Washington DC, and Mexico before arriving at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Monterrey.

The Silver Rose honors Saint Juan Diego and commemorates the Miracles of the Roses, an important part of the story of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

A Time for Prayer

This rosary centered event is an opportunity to pray for:

• The protection of life
• Spiritual renewal throughout every nation
• The advancement of the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe
