On an early Spring Sunday afternoon, the Archdiocese of Denver organizes a Purity Rally in Denver. Youth from all over the diocese come together for education and to support one another about purity and the virtuous life of discipleship.

Every Fall, our parish youth group offers to come to rake leaves from your lawn if you’re someone who needs this assistance. Contact Sheryl Senesac to get scheduled.
In celebration of the Feast of St. Nicholas, this annual Christmas gathering is held to remember Jennifer Hofmeister and all women who suffered cancer and have gone to eternal life. The 2015 blue spruce tree was donated and dedicated with a plaque for Jennifer Hofmeister by her parents.
Join us each year as we celebrate the season and sing Christmas carols and share some hot chocolate and all the cookies you can eat provided by the Women’s Group.
Oktoberfest is Guardian Angels’ annual parish celebration and fundraiser. The community shares in celebration of a traditional German supper, with beer garden, live and silent auctions, music and dancing, along with a variety of children’s activities through the evening. 25% of funds raised are contributed back to the Berthoud Mead communities in outreach charities.
On Sunday following Oktoberfest, the parish gathers together to celebrate our annual Mass of Unity.

Annually the Women’s Group attends a day long retreat at St. Walburga’s Abby in northern Colorado, Directed by one of the sisters, this retreat is spiritual enrichment and community building for the women of the parish.
In observation of the Lenten call for fasting and abstinence each Friday of Lent we invite the community to join the Parish in sharing a simple supper meal together. Fish Fries are offered by the Knights of Columbus and Soup Suppers and Pasta Nights are prepared by the Women’s Group. All invited to end their evening with us by going to church for the Stations for the Cross.

Stations of the Cross
Our annual Chili Bingo, organized by the Women’s Group, falls on the Saturday before Ash Wednesday after Mass. Delicious chili’s, bingo, and prizes highlght this evening of fun for the family. Proceeds help the Women’s Group in their work for the parish.
Summer is filled with great adventure and memories shared with the whole family. Our Vacation Bible School is a week-long adventure for our K-5 children to experience the exciting mysteries and stories of our faith. Sheryl Senesac and her catechists offer this event Monday through Friday from 9 – 12 each day. Volunteers include adults and members of our youth groups.
